Blue Balls privacy policy
The short version
Blue Balls is a casual game. We collect as little as we can. You can play with no account, and your scores stay on your phone unless you are online.
What stays on your phone
Your display name, best scores, daily-run score and number of games played are saved on your phone. Deleting the app removes them.
What goes to our server
When you are online, the game signs you in anonymously with Google Firebase Authentication. There is no email address or password, only a random ID. We then store that ID, your display name, and each score with its difficulty and time so the leaderboard can work. This data is kept in a database hosted by Neon and served through Cloudflare.
Analytics and crash reports
Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics receive app events (for example, a finished game with its difficulty and score), crash reports, and basic device information such as model, Android version and app version. We use this to fix bugs and improve the game.
Ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and other device data to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, Google asks for your consent first, and you can change that choice later in the app's Settings. The Remove Ads purchase turns off banner and full-screen ads. Optional rewarded videos, which you choose to watch for an extra life, may remain.
Purchases
Purchases go through Google Play. RevenueCat receives your purchase status, linked to a random app user ID, so the game can unlock Remove Ads and restore it on a new phone. We never see your payment details.
Children
Blue Balls is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can delete your online data at any time in the app: Settings, then Delete my data. You can also ask us to do it, see how to delete your data. Questions about privacy: canbeerliquor@gmail.com.
